What I do with your details
Short version: I ask for enough to get back to you about a course, and nothing more. Here's the whole thing in plain English.
The short version
- The only thing I ask for is enough to get back to you about a course.
- I don't sell your details, and I don't pass them to anyone for marketing.
- I won't put you on a mailing list you didn't ask for.
- Ask me to delete your details at any point and I will, same day where I can.
Who is asking
The Thinking Table is a trading name of Hublinko Ltd, company number 17347578, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Bramley Farm, Bramley Lane, Higher Kinnerton, Chester CH4 9AX. Hublinko Ltd is the data controller for the details on this page.
Courses run at Mynydd Awel Business Centre, Mold Business Park, Maes Gwern, Mold CH7 1XN. I'm Jo Jones and I run it, so you'll be dealing with me. Ring 01352 344010 or email thinkingtable@hublinko.co.uk.
What I collect, and why
When you fill in the register your interest form I get your name, your email address, which course you're interested in, which days suit you, and anything you type in the message box. If you give me a phone number I'll have that too.
I use it for two things. To let you know when dates are set for the course you asked about, and to work out which courses to run and when. That's it.
If you email me or ring me, I'll have whatever you tell me in that conversation.
Counting visits
If you agree to it on the cookie box, I count visits so I can see which courses people are looking at and decide what to run. It records the pages opened, which course was clicked, the town the visit came from, the sort of device, and the site you arrived from.
It doesn't record your name, your email or your address, and it can't be traced back to you. If you say no, none of it runs. You can change your mind on the cookies page.
Photos, your work and reviews
If you come on a course I may ask whether I can use a photo, something you made, or something you said about the day. That is always optional, I ask at the time, and saying no makes no difference to anything. If you say yes and change your mind later, tell me and I'll take it down.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than the companies that run the website and my email for me. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, the form entries and visit counts are stored with Supabase, and my email goes through the provider that handles thinkingtable@hublinko.co.uk. They hold the information so the site and the email work, and they don't use it for anything of their own.
The site loads its fonts from Google, which means Google can see the address your device is connecting from. Nothing else about you is sent.
I will only hand anything over to anyone else if the law makes me.
How long I keep it
Your details stay on my list until you tell me to remove them, or until two years have gone by with no contact between us, whichever comes first. Then I delete them.
What you can ask me for
- A copy of what I hold about you
- Anything wrong put right
- Your details deleted
- Me to stop contacting you, which you can also do by replying to any email
Just ask, and there's no charge. If you're not happy with how I've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
