Gauging interest
Starting a Business
You don't need an idea already. If you've got one, we'll get it out of your head and onto paper.
For people starting a business, and people already running one. Small groups in Mold, an easy drive from Chester and Wrexham.
Nothing to pay yet. Free parking on site.
Small groups, in person, taught in plain English. You work on your own business, not a case study. Pick one to see what's in it.
Gauging interest
You don't need an idea already. If you've got one, we'll get it out of your head and onto paper.
Waiting list
For people already running something. I show you the basics, then you build your own thing with me sat next to you. No coding.
Waiting list
You leave with a site that's live, hosted and set up properly, and that you can change yourself without ringing anybody.
Something else
Tell me what you'd come to and I'll put it on when a few people ask for the same thing.
Four Fridays, 9.30 to 12, ten places. Nobody sits and listens for two and a half hours. You'll be working on your own idea most of the time.
Round the table, everyone says their name and the thing they can't get past. If you haven't got an idea yet, that's the thing you say.
Twenty minutes, worked through on the screen with a real example. Plain English, no jargon.
Your idea, your customer, your one line. I come round and sit with each of you.
You explain your idea to one other person, and they say it back in their own words. You find out fast whether it makes sense to a stranger.
A second piece of work, then everyone reads theirs out. By then you've said it twice, so it's far less frightening than it sounds.
Not a folder of notes. An actual page with your business on it.
Four sessions of three hours, one a week, twelve hours in total. Ten people maximum, so when you get stuck I'm there. No coding, on this or any of my courses. If you can type a sentence you can do everything we do in the room.
A short bit of teaching on what the tool does and how to talk to it. Then you spend most of the time on your own business, with your own prices, services and photos, while I come round.
A website you can change whenever you like. A month of social posts, plus the recipe to keep making them. Quote, invoice and email templates that sound like you. An assistant that answers questions using your own prices. A clear head on which tools are free and which are worth paying for.
Your actual prices, services and photos. Most people go home with two or three things finished, not a handout.
One session, two hours. Twenty minutes on the basics, then you pick one job and get it done with my help. Whatever you pay for it comes off the course.
Two sessions of three hours, a week apart, six hours in total. Ten people maximum. Your words, your prices, your photos. No coding.
A short bit of teaching, then you work on your own site with me sat next to you. Nobody listens for two hours and nobody works on a made up example.
Hosted, on your own address, with words for every page written to sound like you, your photos sized and looking right, and an enquiry form that reaches your inbox.
Your business on Google and on the map, the words people round here actually type, and a simple way to add posts so the site doesn't just sit there.
Any of it, whenever you like, without ringing anybody. Plus a clear head on what domains and hosting actually cost.
The courses above are just where I've started. If there's something you'd come to that isn't on the list, tell me what it is. That's how I decide what to run next.
The button below takes you to the form. One line is plenty — using AI properly, building something your business needs, or turning a vague idea into a plan you can act on.
When a few people want the same thing, I write it and set a date.
If it's going ahead I'll email you the date. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too rather than leave you waiting.
If a group isn't right for you, or you want to get through something specific quickly, I work with people one to one. At Mynydd Awel, in your own office, or online.
An award winning eco building on the edge of Mold, with a garden and a lot of daylight.
Nothing to pay and you're not committing to anything. I just want to know who's out there, and what would suit you.
Thanks. I'll be in touch as soon as the dates are fixed.
